At this point, you’ll want to turn on a darker background so you can easily see your lighter colors. Once you have selected the area you want to color in, use the Manga Fill Brush to paint in the area. Designate one layer for each block of color. Use the magic lasso tool to outline where you’ll color in. I heavily used the Predictive Stroke tool to make sure my lines were smooth and clean. Turn the sketch down to ~25% opacity and line the artwork with the Manga Line Art Ink Pen. I also resized her a bit with the Transform tool to make her proportions more manga-esque. You can see I played around with the arm placement here one pose felt more natural than the other. This stage is where I decide on her final pose and clothing. it's a great way to experiment and find new tools! I am constantly changing brushes so I may try and update this once I find new favorites. I recommend going on the CSP asset store frequently to find and test brushes. Most of these can be doubled for coloring and lining, have fun and use them however you feel works best for you! These are some of my favorite brushes I have been using for awhile.
